[edit] In his own words

I joined on July the 3RD. After many weeks of not being bothered to get up and get a picture taken but i was doing RAoK's when i could. I joined after reading the book which I bought for a camping holiday with my friends in Dorset. It ended up that i never got time to read it as we were either drunk or having too much fun messing around in the campsite. I nearly didn't buy join me as was nearly tempted by Dave Gorman's googlewhack adventure. But was deterred from this as I already have the show on dvd and was swayed by overall weirdness of the whole "cult" thing. Upon reading the book i thought i should join straight away. but only got as far as posting Danny's forum]. It wasn't until about a month later that I actually offically joined. Mainly swayed by my now good friend Tony Hodges.

[edit] What Other's Say

Joinee Peachy, Chris Peach, Cpeachok, all names ive come to associate with one of the nicest people ive met, although not initially through the Join Me Collective.

When www.dannywallace.com had its re-launch in mid 2005 it introduced the first forum to this particular site. Within a few short weeks a number of visitors became regulars, not so much about Join Me or Citizens Required, but a casual place to chat all things Danny Wallace and everything else that came to mind. Cpeachok took centre stage with a record number of posts making all welcome and creatign the homely feeling that later became the DWOC.

Within a few short weeks of talking via the DWOC we had arranged to meet at Leicest Sq. for the Citizen Meet, whilst meeting as strangers we said our goodbye's as frineds.
