"Good Friday" traditionally happens once a year, before Easter, symbolising the Friday when Jesus, son of the Christian God, was crucified. It had very little to do with random acts of kindness, though perhaps sacrificing yourself for the sins of all mankind might be seen as a very generous act. Which it is. But it's not particularly random. There was never much chance that Jesus was going to die for the sins of ants, for example. Of which there are many
