The Newcastle Evening Chronicle is a local Paper for Local People. Those of Newcastle Upon Tyne and surrounding areas to be precise. It is featured in the Join Me book for having carried a picture of a giant banner which was hung from the Tyne Bridge which crosses the River Tyne between Gateshead and Newcastle. Local Police were baffled according to the Chronicle.
