The Cock is a pub on Great Portland Street in London, where various Join Meets have ended up (or passed through) and, since the venue is used practically every Thursday night, a Join Meet nexus!
Joinees can usually be found upstairs (the stairs are in the back corner, next to the gents toilets), at the far end (from the stairs) of the upstairs room.
A limited selection of food is available, and the beer – famously referred to as "Man in a box" because of its logo – is very cheap for central London. The pub tends to have quite a smoky atmosphere, although this will change once the English law changes and smoking in pubs is outlawed, on July 1st.
