Loverpool is the name for a now-annual Join MEet held in Liverpool in the north-west of England each year, usually fairly early in the year – some time after Birmingham's Fab Feb and Nottingham's GGF but before the summer's meets in Brighton and Inverness.
The meet is heavy on charity fundraising, now traditionally involving a major RAoK challenge during the day, and games and title auctions during the evening. The title auctions have become Loverpool's own light-hearted version of other meets' "silverings" and "goldings".
The main meet is on a Saturday, but the event nowadays encompasses the Friday night, Sunday, and for those who can stay, Monday as well, with a little help from the fact that it is planned for the May Bank Holiday.
Loverpool has twice been voted "best meet of all time"! (After Loverpools III and IV.)
