I was given the Join Me book by my lovely older sister for Christmas 2004 but I didn't join up properly until May 2005. Since then, I have only been to meets in my native Inverness but as soon as i can arrange transport I fully intend to travel a lot more.
Join Me has led to me meeting people who I otherwise would not have ever come into contact with, which is always good because they are all lovely! I even know some people who I've never actually met as such, but who I hopefully will at some point.
RAoKs are quite difficult at times (especially when you get told off by security!) but worth it completely for the smile on people's faces!
