Inverness international airport (or "invernational airport" as the cheesy local TV ads call it) is where Danny touched down when he came to visit Gareth Saunders - his first trip outside England during the early expansion of Join Me.

Gareth met Danny at the airport holding a sign saying "Join Me", and on departing the car park they came to the junction - with signs to Inverness and Aberdeen. No longer, unfortunately, can one say "now, do we want fun, or... Inverness?", because the left turn to the A96 (eastbound) is now closed off.
