Inverness Cathedral, a large and grand building by the River Ness, was the "office" of Gold Joinee Gareth Saunders when he first joined Danny. Danny visited Gareth in Inverness, as you can read in the book, and attended a service Gareth was leading.

It was during the service that Danny was struck by some words Gareth read from the Bible - "may your advisers be one in a thousand", and Gareth from then on became one of his key advisers in the evolution of Join Me. Before the service came the stickering of Bishop Ross's bust, and after the service, came the "KNOB!" incident - both infamous events replicated by cheeky joinees at each annual Joinverness Pilgrimage meet.
