Happy Mondays were introduced for the month of December 2003 as a way of getting Joinees to do an act of kindness for themselves once in a while. The idea was that on Monday you had to make an effort to do something for yourself. While they are not 'official' any more, many Joinees still partake of them as well as Good Fridays.
