The British Broadcasting Corporation. Founded by Lord Reith, on who's principles the organisation is still based. Publicly funded (you must pay for a TV license in Britain) and so not behoven to the needs of advertisers.
Employer of Danny Wallace, who spent most of his early career working as a producer for comedy shows on BBC radio, before expanding into TV-show production with Dave Gorman. Has latterly branched into presenting, in shows such as "How To Start Your Own Country", "He's Having a Baby" and "School's Out".
